In order to make sure the system works correctly, the ground rail tracks have to be laid accurately. They are being levelled and fixed on the floor with metal plugs at frequent intervals. Thanks to the frequent intervals, the construction need not be backed up with non-shrink grout afterwards. The tolerances of the concrete subbase according to DIN 18202, table 3, line 2, have to be met.
The installation height of the rails, including the backing material, is 25-50 mm. For major deviations or major floor construction heights, additional compensation supports or concrete tracks on site have to be provided for the rails.
The screed has to be laid according to DIN 18202, table 3, line 4, on the whole construction site; the finished floor level must not be higher than the upper edge of the rail tracks.
